The Worldwide Photography Gala
Awards Portfolio Selection

Portfolios will be evaluated as a cohesive body of work, although jurors
will also evaluate the artistic value of each individual image composing the
series.
Submissions
Will only be accepted online. Each Portfolio should be composed of a minimum of
6 images and a maximum of 10 images. There is no limit to the number of
portfolios to be submitted, as well as the date the images were taken.
Previously awarded images or portfolios are welcome to participate.
Jurors
Two European photographers, both visionary and contemporary art creators, will
be the jurors in this competition:
Alicia Moneva (Spain), www.amoneva.com. Painter and photographer, as well as a video artist, Alicia in one of
the Discoveries of Photo España, and a raising avant-garde artist in Spain.
Patrizia
Burra (Italy), www.patriziaburra.com, also a painter and professional photographer, specializes in digital art.
A master in Portraits, Patrizia is one the most prominent photographers in the
contemporary Italian art scene.
Awards
10 portfolios will be selected by the jurors to
be published in the 120 pages WPGA Portfolio Selection Book. The 10 selected
portfolios will also be featured in WPGA’s site for one year. One image of the
portfolio selected as the best of the competition will be displayed in the
cover; one image of the runner up will be featured in the back cover. Each awarded
artist will receive a copy of the book.

Open to professional and non professional
photographers, worldwide.

Announcement of jurors’ selection: December 21st, 2011

Entry Fees
First Portfolio: $85 for the first portfolio (6
to 10 images)
Each additional Portfolio: $65
